How much does custom software development cost?

At a traditional agency, a custom web application or AI chatbot is typically quoted between $5,000 and $60,000, and the number only arrives after a discovery phase you also pay for. TectSoft publishes its prices instead: web applications start from $3,000, AI chatbots from $3,000, and mobile apps from $6,000, with the largest standard tiers at $9,000 for web and chatbot builds and $18,000 for mobile. Every figure below is a starting point for a fixed-scope, fixed-price engagement, based on the functionality required rather than page or screen count.

One scoping call produces a written scope, timeline and price. If it is not in the scope, you are not billed for it. If the scope changes, the new price is agreed in writing before the extra work starts.
